Fatima Matar is an artist, writer, and poet who sought asylum in the United States in 2018, after facing prosecution and persecution for her political and social activism in Kuwait. Now residing in the Cleveland area, Fatima channels her life experiences into her art, using oils to create skillful and detailed works that captivate the audience.
