Open for Art returns to Reading in 2024, located at 115-116 Broad Street Mall, Queens Walk, RG1 7QE. This event, running from June 21 to July 2, is the town's largest celebration of visual art, featuring established artists and groups we collaborate with throughout the year. Embracing the theme of 'Impact,' the festival prompts reflection on the influence of art on individuals, the environment, and communities at local and global levels. Visitors have the opportunity to engage in 12 days of creativity, including workshops, many of which are complimentary, and explore art across the town. Diverse artists will showcase their work in unconventional spaces, demonstrating innovative uses of the town's surroundings. Open for Art 2024 is supported by Arts Council England and offers free admission to all attendees.
