Olga de Amaral is an internationally renowned artist whose bold style has left its mark on contemporary art, receiving praise and admiration around the world. The Fondation Cartier will present an unprecedented retrospective of the Colombian artist from October 12, 2024 to March 16, 2025. In this eponymous exhibition, Olga de Amaral takes us into her unique world of textiles, where her giant creations break away from traditional artistic norms. These abstract works can be paintings, sculptures, installations, and more. They draw on elements from the worlds of architecture and textiles to create unique and fascinating works. 
Olga de Amaral experiments with different textiles (linen, cotton, horsehair, gesso, gold leaf or palladium) to combine threads and give life to monumental installations. She varies the color, technique and size of her works according to her desires and explorations. Visitors will find themselves drawn to these organic, shimmering pieces that are almost alive.

The fireworks at night are very showy, so great, it&#39;s worth waiting for more than 7 o&#39;clock in the cold weather, it&#39;s worth it

Great place to visit but can get very crowded around the &quot;must sees&quot; I would highly recommended at least a 2pm slot as the museum is massive and it&#39;ll take a long time to go through all the wings. I went for the 7pm slot and didn&#39;t realise how big it was. Only managed to go through one wing before it closed!

What a magnificent structure. The view of Paris is wonderful. You have the option to take the lift or use the stairs.

Notre Dame is worth it. It is one of the most famous attractions in Paris and a must visit attraction. It was rainy today and the queue was long. Very crowded. Enter the interior of Notre Dame, deeply attracted by the exquisite religious works of the interior decoration, statues, murals, tapestries and so on. Taking a lot of photos and reading a lot of religious knowledge. Worth a visit.

Visiting the Palace of Versailles was an amazing experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The palace is about an hour away from the city by train. The gardens are super vast, so be prepared for a lot of walking (suggest to rent a bicycle, golf car or take the shuttle train🤔). There is no need to add the musical show to your ticket if it&rsquo;s scheduled during your visit&mdash;it was free when I went on april. Also, bring some food with you, as dining options inside can be limited and pricey.Keep in mind that once your ticket is scanned, you can only enter the palace once. Make sure to explore the entire palace before stepping out. I arrived 2&ndash;3 hours later than my booking time but was still able to enter without any issues. Be prepared for long queues, especially during peak hours.Overall, it was worth the visit despite the minor inconveniences!
