Welcome to the Oakville Wild Walking Soccer Festival! Come join us for a fun-filled day of walking soccer at the Oakville Soccer Club Indoor Facility. This event is perfect for soccer enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have a good time, this festival is for you! Remember NO RUNNING!! Date: Mon Oct 28 2024 Time: 09:30 AM Location: Oakville Soccer Club Indoor Facility Get ready to lace up your indoor shoes and hit the field for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. Don't miss out on this exciting event - mark your calendars and we'll see you there! Facility has washrooms, showers and Free parking. Playing on turf 1/4 field. Seven aside including goalkeeper. Teams 8-10 players depending on registrations. Hopefully 8 teams. Likely Format (subject to change) seven round robin 15 minute games or two separate divisions three round robin 30 minute games. We will have different coloured bibs but please bring a white and dark shirt to avoid colour clashes.  Recruiting 4 referees. Location for lunch (at your expense) still to be determined. Rules will be sent out a head of time (2 weeks before) but will be much in line with those used at Guelph Good Games. eg. no contact tackling, 3 touch, penalty if team has 4 Not Walking infractions, height restriction, goal keeper protection area. etc. IMPORTANT BY YOU REGISTERING FOR THIS FESTIVAL you are deemed to have signed the following WAIVER and acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to the waiver, release and indemnity. Further you warrant that you are physically fit to participate in this activity. OAKVILLE WALKING SOCCER WAIVER WAIVER In consideration of the acceptance of my registration to participate in Oakville Walking Soccer, I for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and successors, hereby release, waiver, and forever discharge the Town of Oakville, all members of the Oakville Soccer Club, Oakville Walking Soccer activity organisers, volunteers, and their heirs, and appointed officials, successors and assigns, of and from all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and causes of action whether in law or equity, in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to my person or property howsoever caused, arising or to arise by reason of my participation in said activity, whether prior to, during, or subsequent to the activity, and notwithstanding that same may have contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of the aforesaid. I further hereby undertake to hold and save harmless and agree to indemnify all of the aforesaid from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of, or in any way connected with my participation in the said activity.
