From May 3rd to May 5th, 2024, the YEG Dancer organization is bringing you an unforgettable event packed with workshops and socials. Immerse yourself in more than 6 hours of workshops led by Charles Ogar, also known as Mr. Neokiz, and Samantha Fast. These accomplished artists will guide you through an incredible dance journey. In addition, enjoy 15 hours of day and evening socials featuring the unique sounds of DJ Ogarocious from Austin, TX, DJ SAvvy from Winnipeg, MB, and DJ Faye from Edmonton, AB. Get ready to dance the night away! 

This event is truly one of a kind as it caters to both leads and followers, offering tremendous value to dancers of all levels. Whether you're an experienced UrbanKiz/Kizomba dancer or just starting out, there's something for everyone. For newer dancers who want to participate, don't worry! We've got you covered. Join Samantha Fast in September 2023 for an UrbanKiz/Kizomba Fundamentals Intensive to prepare for the event. 

Please note that passes for the Neokiz Weekender Edmonton 2024 are only available online. No passes will be sold at the door, so make sure to secure your spot in advance. All workshops and socials will take place at the Sugar Swing Ballroom, conveniently located at 10019 80 Avenue Northwest, Edmonton, AB T6E 1T4. 

Mark your calendars with the tentative schedule: Charles and Samantha will arrive in Edmonton on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and will be available for private sessions. The event kicks off on Friday, May 3rd, with registration starting at 8:30 pm, followed by a special workshop and an evening social. On Saturday, May 4th, enjoy a full day of progressive workshops, a day social, and a dinner break before a special workshop and another evening social. Finally, on Sunday, May 5th, participate in more progressive workshops and a day social before closing out the event.
