Join us for a relaxing morning basking in the spring beauty of Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve! DIrector of Education Lauren Theis will guide participants to create their own nature journal while getting to know the bird life that surrounds us. Through visual and auditory observations, we will identify some interesting spring migrants, and catalog our observations through drawing, watercolor, and written word. No experience needed - just an open mind!
All participants will recieve a nature journal to bring home. Pens, colored pencils and watercolors will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite art supplies if you like!
This program requires minimal walking and will have plenty of sit spots - its up to you how far you venture! If there is any way we can make this program more accessible to you please reach out to Lauren at ltheis@raritanheadwaters.org
