#AugustDestinations2025
If one day, all Taiwanese people die from air pollution, those living in Xitou will likely be the last to die! The air here is truly amazing!
Especially since the Howard Plaza Xitou opened in 2021, they've been renovating the building, making it a truly comfortable place to stay and vacation.
This time, I saw the newly renovated Hanguang Building of the Howard Plaza Xitou online. The only room in the building, the "Romantic Honeymoon Suite," has a loft and a glass skylight for stargazing. They were still available on Christmas Eve, so I immediately decided to bring my wife and me to spend Christmas early.
The honeymoon suite is truly beautiful. The door opens to a huge living room, with L-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, bringing the forest view in. Just sitting on the sofa and gazing out at the view is relaxing.
There's also a couch by the window, perfect for reading. When you're tired, you can just lie down and take a nap surrounded by the forest outside. It's so comfortable! The bedroom design is also fantastic. To one side of the king-size bed is an open wardrobe, and to the other is a landscape-style bathtub next to a floor-to-ceiling window. Soaking in the bath while enjoying the forest view is truly romantic!
Upstairs from the bedroom leads to a 20-square-foot loft. Above it is the roof of the Hanguang Building. The semi-sloping roof has been converted into a glass skylight, allowing daylight in during the day. At night, when all the lights are turned off, you can clearly see the starry sky – a truly relaxing experience!
Although this room is designated as a "Romantic Honeymoon Suite," it seems more suited to couples or newlyweds, but it's also perfectly suited for families with children.
The loft has a sofa bed that can easily sleep two people. It also has an LCD TV and ample electrical outlets. If you have children over, this would be their perfect base for fun.
