You'll also receive a step-by-step guide to take home and refer to as you begin your cultivation journey.
King Stropharia mushrooms are easily recognized by their vibrant, reddish-brown to purple-burgundy caps that lighten as they mature, and their thick, white stems, which often feature a ring near the top. The flavor and texture of wine cap mushrooms are often compared to portobellos—they have a mild, earthy taste with a meaty texture, but with a slightly sweeter and nuttier profile.
