Join fellow Spartan Alumni, Fans, and Friends in San Antonio for a thrilling NCAA March Madness Game Watch of Michigan State University basketball. Hosted by the San Antonio Spartans, this event offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can cheer on the team and connect with fellow Spartans. Established in 2010 by passionate Michigan State University Alumni, the San Antonio Spartans have experienced remarkable growth and even established two scholarships for Bexar area students attending MSU. The scholarships are awarded each fall to a new student and a current student, based on financial need. No application is required, just the desire to attend MSU. We gather at Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux for most MSU basketball games, where we do our best to ensure seating and sound, though it's first come, first sat. Feel free to arrive 15 minutes before the game to sign in, make your name tag, and find a seat. At halftime, our game watch host will share a few announcements and distribute prizes to randomly selected guests. In addition to fundraising for scholarships and watching basketball, our club is dedicated to supporting the local community. We have volunteered with various organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Haven for Hope, the Animal Defense League, the SA Food Bank, SA Parks & Recreation, and the Veteran's Administration.
