Join fellow Spartan Alumni, Fans, and Friends in San Antonio for a relaxed atmosphere and watch Michigan State University basketball games. The San Antonio Spartans, founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated Michigan State University Alumni, have grown significantly over the years. We are proud to have established two scholarships for Bexar area students attending MSU, awarded each fall based on financial need. No application is necessary, just the ambition to attend MSU!

We gather at Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux to watch most MSU basketball games. While we do our best to ensure seating and sound, please note that it is first come, first served. Feel free to arrive 15 minutes before the game to sign in, make your name tag, and find a seat. During halftime, our game watch host will make announcements and randomly select guests to receive prizes.

Our club not only supports MSU scholarships and basketball, but also gives back to the local community. We have volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Haven for Hope, the Animal Defense League, the SA Food Bank, SA Parks & Recreation, and the Veteran's Administration.

The San Antonio Life Insurance Building is a landmark historic building in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. The 31-story building is 123 meters tall. The building opened in 1929 and was originally known as the Smith-Young Tower, with the Smith brothers purchasing the building in 1943. In 1953, a television transmission tower was added to the structure. A 2010 renovation removed the outdated television mast and replaced it with the tower&#39;s original design, a copper canopy with a 100-foot-tall flagpole.

The only world cultural heritage site in Texas is in San Antonio. The San Antonio Zoo is a great place for families, with plenty of attractions for kids, a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and lots of spots to rest. The animals seem well cared for, and there&rsquo;s a wide variety to see, from giraffes to playful otters. The layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there are plenty of snack stands and shaded areas to take a break. The highlight of our visit was the kangaroo experience, where we got to walk among them up close. Overall, it&rsquo;s a fun, well-maintained zoo that&rsquo;s worth a visit.
