Forever Young Fit & Good Active invite you to a Sunday morning of movement for the greater good. We will be collecting donated goods & supplies for underserved communities across LA just in time for the holidays. Join us for a 1 hour, beginner-friendly, full-body workout led by fitness trainer, Hallie Young, followed by light bites & community time! Bringing an item to donate is optional, but highly encouraged as 100% of items collected will be hand delivered and split between The Downtown Women’s Center and The Los Angeles Mission. Please review the links to each site for a complete list of accepted & needed items – like personal care items, canned food, and clothing. THE ITINERARY 10:30am - 11am: Guest arrivals, mingling, & donation drive (please bring an item to donate!)11am - 11:10am: Welcome speech11:10am - 12:10pm: Full-body workout led by Hallie12:10pm - 12:30pm: Acai bowls & community timeTHE LOCATION West Hollywood – exact location to be shared out to guests prior to event. We will be in an indoor gym studio space. THE CHARITY PARTNER A portion of proceeds will be split between The Downtown Women’s Center and The Los Angeles Mission. The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is a non-profit organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving women and gender diverse individuals experiencing homelessness. The Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit organization that breaks the cycle of homelessness and poverty. They are one of the nations largest providers of support to homeless individuals. ABOUT FOREVER YOUNG FIT Forever Young Fit is a wellness movement where community is empowered to be their best selves through fitness, movement, and holistic health. Founder Hallie Young is a certified fitness trainer and public health professional with a passion for helping others live happier, healthier lives. ABOUT GOOD ACTIVE Good Active is an LA-based health & wellness organization hosting events and activations for a cause. A percentage of all proceeds go to charity. Our mission is to inspire others to move their bodies and nurture their mind. We partner with local health and wellness vendors and fitness instructors to create events, both big and small, centered around bettering your mind, body, and spirit. Our purpose is to give back to underserved communities across the greater Los Angeles area. We partner with local charities that provide, educate and serve those in need to do our part in contributing towards the greater good and creating a better world.
