Included is a cheese and Deli platter (per person), plus your choice of a glass of wine, pint of beer or Konbini (alcoholic lemonade) or a non-alc. beverage (per person). Learn the magical art of Kintsugi with Artist Ema Frost in this new Workshop. You can bring along a piece of your own pottery to restore in this beautiful style. (I'll also have a few as back up if you don't have your own piece) (All Levels)
Sunday 11th May - 12-2pm or 3-5pm Ema Frost is a very clever Kiwi Artist, whose illustrations and ceramic works sit in many of our countries best galleries, and whose products and merchandise sell in the most stylish design stores and gallery shops. Her style is enchanting - quirky, feminine and colourful, and clearly influenced by her travels throughout the world, usually off the beaten track. Ema is inspired by the mystery and magic found in Japanese and Maori Folklore, and this influence can be seen throughout her captivating and detailed images. Kintsugi
It's called kintsugi (金継ぎ), or kintsukuroi (金繕い), literally golden (“kin”) and repair (“tsugi”). This traditional Japanese art uses a precious metal – liquid gold, liquid silver or lacquer dusted with powdered gold – to bring together the pieces of a broken pottery item and at the same time enhance the breaks.
You will take away your wonderful finished work, plus your knew skills which will enable you to further your own Kintsugi in your own time.
This class is not just for budding or accomplished artists. It is for everyone to enjoy a relaxing day of art and design with Ema.

The sky towers high into the clouds, a landmark building in Auckland. Take a high-speed elevator straight up to the observation deck, and you can see the entire city, port and even the volcanic landscape in the distance. The glass floor area is soft but can&#39;t help but step on it to experience it once. The city lights at night are intertwined with the soft lights in the tower to create a dreamy atmosphere. The high-altitude walk and tower jump project at the top of the tower is full of excitement. Even if you don&#39;t try it, you can&#39;t be nervous just watching other people&#39;s challenges. Standing at that height, watching the wind and clouds move, there is an indescribable sense of freedom.

The SEALIFE Aquarium was a fun and interesting place with many exhibits and animals to see. The penguin exhibition was particularly cute, and you could really experience them up close. However, the aquarium was a bit small, and we only managed to see most of the exhibits in about 45 minutes. We had expected it to be larger. While it was still a fun place to visit, it might not be a must-do in Auckland.

The whole experience is great and it is a good place to understand New Zealand&#39;s history and culture. The museum is quite big, it is worth a long time to visit, there are many interactive exhibits, especially suitable for walking the baby. There is also Chinese service, recommended.

Although Mount Eden is not high, it is overlooking the entire Auckland from the top of the mountain and has a particularly wide view. The remains of the crater are clearly visible, and the grass covers it, a peaceful green. It is not difficult to go up all the way. You can also encounter sheep on the hillside. The leisurely appearance makes people unable to take a few more photos. The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong, but it is also very fresh, and the mood is particularly clear.
