Join Belly Dcne World and Nawarra, a skilled Moroccan dancer, for an inspiring series of workshops in Nottingham, delving into the vibrant art of Moroccan dance. Reflecting the deep cultural heritage of North Africa, Moroccan dance is filled with expressive movements that celebrate community, storytelling, and joy. Throughout the series, Nawarra will introduce you to a variety of Moroccan styles, including Berber, Chaabi, and Amazigh dances. Each style brings its unique rhythm, lively footwork, and expressive gestures, symbolizing community and connection. You'll learn the background and significance of each dance, from the celebratory spirit of Chaabi to the flowing grace of Amazigh traditions. These workshops are open to all levels and offer a welcoming space to experience Moroccan culture through movement. Whether you’re a newcomer to dance or have more experience, you’ll leave each class with a deeper appreciation for Moroccan dance and its joyful, communal spirit. Doors open – 10:45am Classes start - 11am Event ends – 3pm  Ticket price: Free Soft drinks and snacks available to purchase.
