Monotypes for Minitypes workshop by Artist Annie FfordeA fun packed Monotype printing workshop for 8+ ! You'll be making small colourful monotypes with Annie Fforde. We will be rolling coloured ink onto a plate and drawing over a paper placed on top of the plate.Where you draw the ink will pick up on the other side of the paper. This is called monotype drawing. We will warm up with a drawing exercise making different marks. You can choose your subject so bring a sketch or photo of your favourite thing, person or animal. Suitable for 8+ Recommended that you bring an apron / wear something you don't mind getting ink on! Tickets: Tickets are £5 per child. Parents/Guardians are asked to stay with their child for the full duration of the workshop. We are also offering some free tickets to those on low-income. Location and access: The session will be held in the upstairs community room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LS. A chairlift is accessible to the Community Room. The centre can be accessed easily via public transport. There is free on street parking around the centre. There is an on-site vegetarian café, Plenty, where refreshments and lunch can be purchased.
