Amsterdam based ensemble MONDFLECK presents Tidal Nights, a new musical program that explores the dark recesses of human behavior, interaction and introspection through music closely tied to the hours of darkness, nostalgia and violence. With Arnold Schönberg’s iconic “Pierrot Lunaire” as the cornerstone of the evening, the ensemble combines musical performance and theater to bring to life a musical gathering that’s dark yet beautiful; aggressive yet sexy. Next to “Pierrot Lunaire”, MONDFLECK will perform enchanting songs by Mahler and Korngold in entirely original arrangements and other eclectic surprises… Program: Gustav Mahler (Arr. Jaime Peña) – “Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen” from the Ruckertlieder (1901) Maurice Ravel – Chansons madécasses (1925-1926) Erich Wolfgang Korngold (Arr.
