Experience the Kobudō of the Golden Age of Samurai and embrace the spirit of its most famous warrior, Myamoto Musashi!
Kobudō
: the "Old Martial Path" , is a Japanese term used to refer to traditional martial arts. Kobudo consists of a variety of schools that teach the techniques of many different weapons used by the Samurai (such as katana, wakizashi, staff, unarmed combat, etc).
In this event you will have the opportunity to experience the techniques of Musashi in a unique and immersive way in this one-day, 8 hours workshop led by Sensei Jorge Kishikawa, 
Menkyo Kaiden 
(Grand Master) in 
Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu
 
("Two swords style")
As part of the 
Kobudō 
practiced in the Niten Institure, in addition to 
Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu
, Niten you will also experience:
Jojutsu 
(the art of using a 
jō
 (short staff) to defend against a sword)
Iaijutsu
 (the art of quickly drawing a sword in combat)
Goshinjutsu
 
(the art of self defence)
Kenjutsu
 
(fight with (bamboo) swords and protective armor: put into practice what you learned!)
Learn and practice techniques(katas) and modalities passed on for generations in the Kobudo art of Kenjutsu and training styles of multiple modalities taught by the Niten Institute. Training alonside novice and experienced students, you will experience Kobudo like never before.
This event is designed for all skill levels, whether you are a beginner in martial arts or an experienced practitioner.
Can anyone participate? What do I need?
1. Due to the nature of the Workshop, 
you need to be 18+ to join
. Individuals 
younger than 18 might join us in a case-by-case basis, provided they have a guardian that is also participating in the event
: please contact us directly if you are less than 18 years old and would like to attend the event

2 . You will learn Musashi's sword techniques, so 
it is essential you bring a 'practice sword'
:
Strongly recommended : Shinai 
(bamboo sword)*
Additionally to the shinai, it would also be useful to bring: 
Bokuto/bokken 
(wooden practice sword) and/or 
Jo (
wood staff)
Due to safety, 
Metal swords will NOT be allowed
: please do NOT bring them to the workshop
*If you would need to buy a Shinai, there are numerous kendo shops in the internet (such as 
Nine Circles
 in UK). We recomend size 39 for male adult, 38 for female adult
(note that due to the expected attendance volume, we will not be able to provide equipment for the attendees in this event. We might be able to help in a case by case basis, please contact us- in advance !- for more info)

Highly recommend the British Museum for at least one day tour. We arranged a tour of the British Museum on the last day of the 10-day UK tour. Found that we arranged three hours too little. Fortunately, we have participated in the teacher&#39;s explanation group, through the teacher&#39;s wonderful explanation, we know a lot of the history and origin of the previously blurred cultural relics. Let us have a vivid human history lesson at the British Museum. Seeing the long-awaited kiln, Tang Sancai, saw the exquisite memory of Chinese historical relics. Teacher Bilan also uploaded a few photos of the kiln after the team ended, so I kept a precious memory and beautiful photo in regret.

Westminster Abbey

After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.

This time I brushed it twice. This time I took my family to sit together. It felt really good overlooking half of London and the Thames. The only fly in the ointment was that the weather was not good enough, and the scenery was too far from sunny and cloudy.

The Queen&#39;s favorite palace is very luxurious, but it is not allowed to take pictures. It can only be taken outside. When entering, a photo was taken and was stopped by the staff. Knowing the life of the royal family, Windsor Castle is generally very quiet.
