“Mistero Buffo” gilt als das Meisterwerk des italienischen Autors, Regisseurs und Schauspielers Dario Fo (1926 – 2016). Das Lustspiel wurde 1969 zum ersten Mal aufgeführt und war sofort ein großer Erfolg, so dass es unzählige Male wiederholt wurde. Das Theaterstück in neun Bildern ist kein abgeschlossenes Drama, vielmehr eine Abfolge von unverbundenen Szenen, in dem Fo seine eigene, subversive Version der biblischen Geschichten erzählt.  Nun inszenierte der Regisseur Eugenio Allegri mit dem Schauspieler Matthias Martelli eine Neuauflage dieses außergewöhnlichen Werks. Der Mime steht allein auf der Bühne, ohne szenischen Aufwand, und erzählt nur mit Phantasie und schauspielerischer Überzeugungskraft er jahrhundertealte Geschichten, die schon damals als aufrührerisch und respektlos galten: Minimalistisches Volks-Theater vom Feinsten. Die Sprache des Stückes ist Grammelot, eine Phantasiesprache, die echte Wörter nachahmt, deren Laute mischt und neue erfindet. Kein Zuschauer kann sie verstehen und doch versteht sie jeder, dank der Lautmalerei, der Gestik und der Mimik des Darstellers, die von allen Zuschauern verstanden werden. Die geniale Erfindung dieser originellen und experimentellen Sprache war einer der Gründe dafür, dass Dario Fo im Jahr 1997 mit dem Nobelpreis für Literatur ausgezeichnet wurde. König Gustav von Schweden überreichte Dario Fo den renommierten Preis mit folgender Begründung:  Weil er in der Tradition mittelalterlicher Narren die Macht verspottet, indem er den Unterdrückten ihre Würde zurückgibt. Im Anschluss an die Preisverleihung gab Dario Fo einige Interviews und sprach dabei auf Grammelot!

What a fascinating place. An absolute favourite. Beware though that the place gets crowded all the time. Might need like an hour or two to get in. As for the activity, you could easily spend the whole day if you take your time and go through details. But it&#39;s a pity, the place gets lot of visitors. Also there is a restaurant inside with affordable meals.

It is not far from the town square to here. The surrounding area is a very beautiful area with ancient and beautiful houses. There are many beautiful restaurants and unique cafes hidden in the houses. It is a very relaxing place.

Views are pretty awesome, and a stunning piece of architecture to say the least.. You can walk all the way around the observation plaza, so 360 degree views across the Hafencity, Port and beyond! It&#39;s free entry up to the first plaza, it has toilets, shop and a restaurant, so some great facilities if your unsure if it&#39;s worth the trip. A great little place to take some pictures if your on a budget, want to kill some time or just love ships and dockland. You might also be able to catch an orchestral view 😉. Recommended.
