Join the Mini Riders course and give your youngster the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of off-road riding and conquer some exciting trails. This course is designed for children aged 7 to 10 years and focuses on teaching them the correct techniques to navigate rocks and mud with confidence. Our experienced instructors, who are all qualified by British Cycling, will guide your child through the course, providing instruction and engaging games along the way. 

The Mini Riders course will take place at the Dalby Forest Cycle Hub, located in Thornton Dale. The address is Dalby Forest Drive, Thornton Dale, YO18 7LT. We recommend allowing plenty of time for travel to Dalby and arriving at least 15 minutes before the course starts to ensure a prompt start. Please note that the instructors can only wait for five minutes past the start time.

To participate in the Mini Riders course, children will need their own off-road bike and must be able to ride and pedal confidently. The instructor-to-student ratio is 1:8, ensuring individual attention and a safe learning environment.
