Learn how to carve an adorable tiny spoon using a carving gouge and whittling knife! 3-Hour Workshop Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2025 Time: 6–9pm Description: Come make your own coffee or tea scoop, sugar spoon, or whatever else you can imagine a tiny spoon for! Using a carving gouge and whittling knife, students will learn how to carve their own small spoon. The instructor will prepare spoon blanks in a variety of shapes, sizes, and wood types, and students can pick one or two to work on. Every student will leave with at least one finished spoon! Tuition: $65 + $10 materials fee Materials: All materials will be provided. Location: Contemporary Craft Timmons Studios (5688 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201) Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded by check, to your credit card, or Contemporary Craft account for future workshops. Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. Please join Princess Lavendar, and Steel City Pups for Shifting Gears. This event is an oppurtunity for you to attend a hands on kinky gear making class, taught by members of our own community. Supplies will be provided in the entry fee, however you are free to purchase other supplies if you see something that catches your eye. We ask that you arrive promptly at 5:30PM to make sure you have enough time to complete your piece of gear. We will also have a gear swap station set up. If you have any leather, latex, or kink gear you would like to swap or donate to other community members, this is the perfect space to do so This is a 18+ event, and ID will be required for entry.
