Join us all week! Description Did you know that Art Ovation Hotel, as a Marriott Autograph Collection, has a signature Mark ? The unique Art-themed Hotel brings the opportunity to express oneself creatively in each guest room with a leather-bound sketchbook and drawing supplies. In Collaboration with Ringling College of Art & Design, our community focus brings art students in to design art as inspiration on the first page of each book. While most hotel rooms prefer that guests not leave behind anything, Art Ovation encourages guests to leave behind a Mark in the book. During the week, sketchbooks will be exhibited in the Artist's Studio and to add more, a collection of artful Maker's Mark bottles designed by the community at Ringling College of Art and Design will be included. Join this engaging week of experiences to celebrate the unique Mark of Art Ovation Hotel. We'll party, draw, enjoy cuisine, whiskey, mix it up and get ready to make your Mark! Agenda Monday, September 23, 5:30pm - 7pm Opening Circus Celebration - Enjoy performances, mingling, apps and cocktails as the featured Mark Week Exhibit events kick off. Tuesday, September 24, 7pm Sketch-a-thon - Join Ringling students and create your own drawing as a mark in the vibrant gallery. Wednesday, September 25, 7pm - 9pm Whiskey Dinner - Taste your favorite Whiskeys and Bourbons during this fine dining event. A portion of proceeds will be donated towards Ringling College of Art & Design Scholarships. Thursday, September 26, 7pm - 9pm Mixing the Mark - Experience guided mixology and receive a goody bag in the vibrant gallery. $75.00 Featured mixologist, Wes, showcases 3 specialty cocktails. Follow along and mix your own cocktail at your group’s mixing station. Stations will accommodate 4 guests. Take home the mixing to make an Espresso Martini at home! “Circus Margarita” Hiatus tequila, house made sour mix, triple sec and topped with Cotton Candy“Beauty and the Bhakta” Smoked old fashion with Bhakta bourbon presented in a glass smoking cloche“Espresso Martini” ** Wheatley vodka, grind espresso rum, cold brew topped with an espresso infused Bubble** This is the cocktail the guests will receive in the goody bag to take home Friday, September 27, 6pm - 8 pm Closing Cocktail Party - Celebrate the final night with Champagne and Charcuterie.
