Rural Action’s Day Camps
 focus on nature immersion, exploration, and fun in the outdoors! Campers will get to unleash their curiosity and explore local forests, creeks, and trails. Our camps are both an introductory experience to the outdoors as well as continued learning for campers with more experience, allowing all campers the chance to have fun in a safe environment with Rural Action’s environmental educators.

The Sunday Creek Summer Camp is focused on learning all about the Sunday Creek Watershed through creek exploration, games, field trips and nature-based crafts! Drop off is 8:30-9:00 a.m. and pick up is 4-4:30 p.m. Campers will need to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a change of clothes, rubber boots if they have them, and comfortable walking shoes.

I suggest you leave more time for the Acropolis Museum for at least half a day.

The Athens Archaeological Museum is the largest museum in Greece, with a collection of nearly 20,000 pieces, covering prehistoric to late ancient artifacts, and is the epitome of ancient Greek civilization. It is worth seeing, but unfortunately there is no Chinese explanation... Seeing favorite collections can only understand history with translation software...

However, the Caryatids in the Acropolis are not authentic. The authentic ones are in the nearby Acropolis Museum and... the British Museum

Like most Greek temples, this temple was also used as a treasury.
1. It was built in 447 BC to replace the old Parthenon (destroyed by the Persians in 480 BC).
2. For a while, it was the treasury of the Delian League (which later evolved into the Athenian Empire).
3. In the 6th century AD, the Parthenon was converted into a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary (the original Athena was also a virgin).
4. In the early 1460s, after being conquered by the Ottoman Turks, it was used as a mosque.
5. It was used as a gunpowder magazine by the Turkish army in 1687 and was unfortunately severely damaged in an explosion.
6. By 1800, only half of the Parthenon statues survived. After obtaining approval from the Ottoman government, British Ambassador Sir Elgin began to transport half of the surviving statues back to Britain at his own expense starting in 1801, and they began to be exhibited in the British Museum in 1817.
