Join the school holiday workshop with esteemed zine maker Estee Sarsfield on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre in Katoomba. From 10:30 am to 12 pm, participants aged 6 to 12 will have the opportunity to create their own mini handmade magazines known as zines. Get ready to share your passion for Harry Potter, Pokemon, or even stinky cheese! Zines are a fantastic way to express yourself and can be about anything you love. Photocopy them and share with friends, family, or even leave them in street libraries for others to discover. In this workshop, we will focus on making fanzines, where you can showcase the best thing ever - something you are knowledgeable about and want to share with the world. Let your creativity soar as there are no rules in zine making! Parents can drop off their children and enjoy some well-deserved me-time while sipping a cuppa.
