Always curious about Mahjong? Specifically, the super cool Japanese Riichi style you might've spotted in your favorite shows or games? Well, guess what – we're teaching it!

Halifax Euchre & Mahjong Meetup group
 is inviting you to a special 
free learning session
 at The Board Room Game Cafe. While the lesson is totally free, The Board Room Game Cafe does have their regular 
admission fee
 and it is 
$10+tax.
We'll break down everything you need to know to start playing, step-by-step. If you've never touched a tile before, this event is designed just for you!

Where:
 The Board Room Game Cafe (Barrington Street, Halifax). Find us in the back, in "the hub."
Reminder:
 The lesson is totally free, The Board Room Game Cafe does have their regular 
admission fee
 to attend (it's how they keep the lights on and the games flowing!). You can also grab some delicious food and drinks there to fuel your Mahjong adventures.
Join us for a chill evening of learning, strategy, and good company. You'll be making "pon" and "chi" in no time! And if you happen to play Euchre, reach out. We play this throughout the year, board games too.

Gorgeous! We busted around mid October and the leaves were begging to change. Everything was so well kept and picture perfect. They had flowers I&rsquo;d never seen before. They were so pretty!! Enjoyed walking around here for a while!

Peggy's Cove

Peggy&#39;s Cove is a must-see attraction when visiting Halifax. The lighthouse is on a small island, facing the sea, with beautiful scenery. There are souvenirs and local specialty products on the tower, and it is meaningful to buy some as souvenirs. There are restaurants around, but they are crowded, so we didn&#39;t go. There are also special lobsters, freshly caught from the sea, cooked for you in time, it is very necessary to try them.

No natural history museum can compare (sorry, Smithsonian). It&#39;s huge, but well laid out and modern. The exhibits are special, like the &quot;T-Rex&quot; is exceptional. As a bonus, you get to go inside the Hayden Planetarium. Take the subway from the underground entrance at 81st Street - this is a shorter line.
