The hannoversche Poetry Slam, "Macht Worte!", is Hannover's largest regular live literature event, a celebration of wordplay, poetry, and creativity, moderated by Henning Chadde and Jörg Smotlacha. Performance poets, storytellers, lyricists, and literary freestylers from across the country compete for the audience's favor, showcasing their expressive power and imaginative skills. The beauty of "Macht Worte!" is that it takes place monthly at the diverse and inclusive Faust venue. Additionally, every third month, it transforms into "The Finest" at the Brauhaus Club, and four times a year, it collaborates with the best German-speaking slammers at the Staatsoper.
