My partner and I just had the most incredible morning at the Panda Base, and it was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip to Cheng. While the pandas themselves are obviously the main attraction, what made our visit truly exceptional was our English-speaking guide. We booked a private tour, and it was worth every single penny.Our guide was not only fluent and incredibly knowledgeable about pandas, their conservation, and the base&#39;s history, but she was also a master of logistics. She knew exactly where to go and when. While other visitors were stuck in long queues, especially to see the baby pandas or the most active adults, she whisked us to the perfect viewing spots with minimal waiting. We got to see the pandas up-close, playing and eating bamboo, without having to fight through a crowd. It felt like we had a secret key to the entire place.For any couple visiting, this is the only way to do it. It was relaxed, romantic in its own unique way, and completely stress-free.

We were lucky today; it stopped raining much when we arrived in Dujiangyan. Perhaps because of the bad weather, the tour guide only took the two of us. Our guide, Guo Jing (phonetic), gave a very vivid and informative explanation of Dujiangyan. Her insightful and easy-to-understand explanation of the entire city, along with her own experiences, made me strongly feel the loveliness, carefree spirit, and elegance of the people of Dujiangyan. I also felt the charm of historical figures and the strength of our motherland.
