Now in its eighth year, the festival, themed 'Science of Light', showcases ten large-scale artworks from Friday 24 October to Sunday 2 November, each installation inspired by a field of science, technology or nature. 
In partnership with the city's incredible science and innovation community, each artwork aims to capture visitors' imaginations in new ways, allowing them to explore the 3km trail along the waterfront, including the Royal Albert Dock, and around Pier Head, Exchange Flags and Liverpool ONE. 
Having previously introduced quiet periods to make it easier for visitors with special needs to participate, two quiet periods will be held on Sunday 26 October and Wednesday 29 October, from 4pm to 5pm, allowing visitors with special needs to enjoy the artwork in a more tranquil setting.

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. No matter how this journey is perceived by others, it is a perfect one in my heart. Especially when I passed through the player tunnel and saw the sign of Anfield, my heart was filled with emotion. When I stood on the stadium and closed my eyes, I could imagine the bustling crowds here on match days.

I am not a Beatles fan, but after this tour, I was still moved by their legendary stories. And I found that some of the familiar songs were written by them. I appreciate Lenon&#39;s talent, but I like McCartney&#39;s gentleness and restraint more. It is a good place to visit.

This church looks ordinary from the outside, but you will be amazed once you enter. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big inside. It is recommended to come here on Sundays. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
