Miriam Van Hee, a beloved poet and translator, holds a degree in Slavic studies from UGent. Her literary journey began in 1978 with the publication of her first poetry collection, "Het karige maal," which earned her the prestigious Oost-Vlaamse prize for literature. Since then, she has released several other notable collections, including "Binnenkamers en andere gedichten," "Ingesneeuwd," and "Winterhard." In 2017, her latest work, "Als werden wij ergens ontboden," delved into the complexities of search, travel, and staying at home. Miriam will be sharing readings from her extensive body of work at the upcoming literary event, "LITERAIRE AVOND MET MIRIAM VAN HEE," held in Antwerpen at Bibliotheek De Poort.
