Let's Play classes are for anyone who identifies as trans, non-binary and or Global Majority/ BIPOC who are beginners, less experienced movers or experienced movers and want to get moving their body without a certain style in an inclusive supportive space. Classes are focused on community-building, care and exploring movement through props and dance/movement. Props are any object that you can dance/move with! To initiate movement with props we would use creative dance games that are open to interpretation to help initiate movement. It is mostly improvisation and nothing is right or wrong! ACCESSIBILITY AND SUPPORT Please email hello.ashleylim@proton.me if you have access needs even if they are undiagnosed before you go to the class. This helps Ashley create a more inclusive and supportive class! There is a designated space if anyone feels unsafe or if you would not like to participate in an activity. SPACE Due to the limited availability of accessible spaces and Ashley's budget for studios. Some locations may have accessibility issues. Ashley prioritises gender-neutral bathrooms in all places they find apologises for the inconvenience caused and is working towards finding more affordable accessible spaces. Please check Eventbrite details for more specific space accessibilities​​ COVID REGULATIONS The pandemic is not over, COVID is still harming and spreading at a rapid rate. It is a MASS disabling event therefore we need to come together to keep each other safe as much as possible. Please READ the guidelines on the Transcendance website before heading to our events. Please do not come if you have COVID symptoms. Tickets are refundable 1 day before the class. Masks are provided and are encouraged to be used throughout the class. There will be a break where you can remove your mask and rest if you need a breather but please take breaks whenever you need. We will use hand sanitizers before touching the props, if you have an allergy please bring your own. If you have been in contact with someone with Covid in the last 2-3 days or less than a week ago please do not come to one of our events UNLESS You have tested negative via lateral flows - once or more than once.You mask throughout the classEXTRA NOTES: Latecomers are welcome however, the classes will start and end on time due to studio booking. This is a trans/non-binary/non-cis space and there are specific classes only for Global Majority people please do not book on those classes if you do not identify as Global Majority. Please do not buy a ticket if you identify as a cis person. ​ TERMS: Cis/cisgender means that a person identifies with the gender that they have been assigned to at birth. Global Majority refers to people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and or have been racialised as 'ethnic minorities’. ​ TESTIMONIALS:  A really great place to connect and play with your inner child and body.
