Join our Exhibitions and Collections Manager Warren Collum for a Curator Tour of our new exhibition The Visionary Brush of Leslie Worth. Warren will be sharing his extensive knowledge of the works in the exhibition and insights into the artist's life and influences. Bideford-born Leslie Worth (1923–2009) was a master of watercolour who brought the transient beauty of landscapes to life. Worth’s work is renowned for its dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, evoking deep emotion and capturing the fleeting moods of weather, nature and place. His artistic vision was often inspired by Romantic and literary traditions, reflected in his ability to transform simple countryside as well as urban scenes into vivid, evocative pictures.
