LEARN TO PLAY - Gamelan Come join us for a fun and interactive,1 hour Gamelan workshop at Chapter Arts Centre! This event is perfect for anyone interested in learning about traditional Indonesian music, or just looking to come and try something new. This session will last just under an hour, and is intended to give you the chance to see these impressive instruments up close and personal, and have a short go with our experienced gamelan tutors. The workshop will take place on Sat Oct 12 2024 at 10:00 AM. Brought to you by Arts Active as part of the Making Music Learn to Play weekend 11 - 13th October 2024:  We're very happy to announce that Learn to Play, UK charity Music for All's annual flagship weekend event is returning 11-13 October this year. The event, held across the UK, is open to everyone, regardless of age, experience and background and aims to inpsire, encourage and enable both total newbs and lapsed music makers, by offering free taster lessons across a range of instruments, and including vocal training.
