Tors­ten Schulz und Lea Strei­sand tra­fen sich erst­mals vor zehn Jah­ren für ein Inter­view anläss­lich sei­nes Romans Nilow­sky, der damals frisch erschie­nen war. Schulz ist gelern­ter und viel­fach aus­ge­zeich­ne­ter Dreh­buch­au­tor, Regis­seur und Pro­fes­sor für Dra­ma­tur­gie an der Fil­mu­ni Babels­berg. Roma­ne schreibt er, um auch mal allein Bestim­mer über eine Geschich­te zu sein.

Lea Strei­sand, 1979 gebo­ren in Ost-Berlin, ist bekannt für ihre radio-Eins-Kolumne war schön jewe­sen. Ihr aktu­el­ler Roman Hätt‘ ich ein Kind erschien 2022 bei Ull­stein. Im Win­ter­se­mes­ter 2022/23 über­nahm sie die Poetik-Dozentur der Uni Pader­born. Im Herbst 2024 tritt sie erst­ma­lig als Her­aus­ge­be­rin in Erschei­nung mit der Antho­lo­gie „Sind Anti­se­mi­tis­ten anwe­send?“ – Sati­ren, Geschich­ten, Essays und Comics gegen Juden­hass. Der Bücher­tisch wird betreut von der Buch­hand­lung Pan­ke­buch.
