Welcome to the Laurence Richards Memorial Triathlon! Come join us at Surrey Sports Park for a day filled with fun, camaraderie and just a little competetive spirit. This event, to raise funds for SUDEP Action to continue their valuable work with those bereaved by epilepsy and to guide, inform research and raise awareness of this debilitating and sometimes fatal illness. Every week in the UK around 21 people (mainly young) lose their lives to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, in Laurence's case he just went to sleep one night and did not wake up. He was just 27. Laurence was a very kind person, always ready to help others, we want this aspect of his character to continue, even though he is no longer with us. Swim, bike, and run or walk your way to the finish line as you test yourself pushing your limits. The beautiful surroundings of Surrey Sports Park provide the ideal backdrop for this thrilling event.
