LAS Art Foundation is pleased to present Pollinator Pathmaker, a living artwork and participatory project conceived by artist Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg. This impactful initiative in interspecies art uses algorithmic technology to generate planting schemes for gardens, computed to support the greatest diversity of pollinating insects possible. It signals a shift toward the post-anthropocentric thinking necessary to face the current climate and biodiversity crises, and toward the non-human aesthetics and experimental formats that pave the way. Ambitious and future-minded, it is exemplary of how art can act as a driver for change, and offer new perspectives on our shared planet. 
Growing in the forecourt of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the LAS- commissioned garden will be the first edition outside of the UK. LAS has committed to amplifying Pollinator Pathmaker’s impact by undertaking an extensive public campaign, which calls upon local communities, hobby gardeners and activists to get involved in pollinator protection by planting their own version of the artwork – what the artist refers to as DIY Editions – via Ginsberg’s free online tool: www.pollinator.art.
Responding to the alarming decline in pollinator populations in recent decades, Ginsberg has worked with horticulturalists, pollinator experts and an AI scientist to devise an algorithmic tool that designs bespoke gardens for pollinating insects. Supported by the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the LAS Edition will be customised for Continental Europe, and will feature more than 7,000 plants of 80 different varieties, planted over a 722-square-metre plot.

The Museum island is impressive, with amazing buildings hosting exhibitions of all kind. I was able to visit the Neues Museum and it was worth the visit, even walking in the morning, afternoon or night is a great experience. a lot of history!!

Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) is a famous Protestant church in Berlin, the capital of Germany. It is located on the Museum Island in the center of the city, next to the Spree River. This magnificent church is not only the religious center of Berlin, but also an important landmark and tourist attraction of the city.
⛪️The history of Berlin Cathedral dates back to the 15th century, when there was a smaller church on the same site. The existing cathedral was built from 1894 to 1905 under the order of German Emperor Wilhelm II to serve as the court church of the Hohenzollern family. The original church was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make way for a new and more magnificent church.
⛪️Berlin Cathedral adopts Renaissance and Baroque styles and was designed by architect Julius Raschdorff. Its gorgeous appearance and exquisite interior decoration reflect the characteristics of neo-Baroque architecture. The church is 98 meters high, and its green dome is an important part of the Berlin skyline.
⛪️During World War II, the Berlin Cathedral was severely damaged, especially an air raid in 1944 that caused part of the church&#39;s dome to collapse. After the war, the restoration of the church lasted for decades and was finally completed in 1993.
⛪️The interior of the church is richly decorated with many exquisite sculptures, paintings and mosaics. The altarpiece and the pulpit on the central altar are particularly eye-catching.
⛪️The Berlin Cathedral has an organ built by Wilhelm Sauer, which is one of the largest and most important historical organs in the world.
Visitors can climb 270 steps to the observation deck on the church&#39;s dome, from which they can overlook the magnificent view of the center of Berlin.

Brandenburg Gate in Germany, due to its special status in Berlin and even Germany, has become the venue for many celebrations in Germany. On December 31st every year, an open-air New Year&#39;s Eve party is held here. At that time, the square and the street are crowded with people, and grand live performances are held on the stage to add to the fun. People welcome the arrival of the new year together with the fireworks tour at midnight.

We had a great experience at the Berliner Fernsehturm! The view from the top is absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic look over Berlin. We went early in the morning to avoid the queues, which made the visit even more enjoyable. If you want to make the most of your time and skip long waiting times, we definitely recommend going early. A must-visit for great city views!
