Be introduced to landscape painting techniques. Step by step artist and educator Katie Sandison will guide you through the exploration of form and colour, so you can achieve your own landscape study using acrylic paints on canvas. Also, during the session Katie will also introduce you to the remarkable landscape studies created by early to mid-20th Century Australian painters. What you need to know Suitable for beginners to advanced, 16 years and over.We provide all the materials and equipment.Wear suitable art workshop clothing.We provide tea and coffee. Bring your own snacks.Cancellations after 9am Friday 8 November will not be reimbursed.About the artist / workshop facilitator Katie Sandison is an Adelaide based painter, curator and art teacher. Her birds and botanical work is featured in galleries throughout South Australia and interstate. Katie has taught visual art in schools and privately for nearly 30 years. Since graduating from art school she has participated in 50 exhibitions and has curated numerous exhibitions, the most recent being Sense of Place at the Adelaide airport.
