MEAA, in partnership with The Ezen Foundation, is excited to reveal that our new exhibition will celebrate the beauty of the Japanese kimono.
As one of the world’s most instantly recognisable modes of dress, the kimono 着物, which literally translates as ‘thing to wear’, is an icon of Japanese history and culture. Sometimes perceived as a costume frozen in time, the kimono is a living fashion that has responded to social and political changes throughout Japanese history.
Through a series of colourful woodblock prints and photographs, the exhibition will trace the development of the kimono from everyday wear to high fashion, including contemporary costumes from one of Lady Gaga’s favourite designers.
The exhibition will also display a stunning embroidered kimono along with an incredible collection of Japanese objects associated with the wearing of kimono, including exquisite lacquerware and intricately carved netsuke.

One of the nicest historical sights I have visited. Was not completely aware that I would get to see a Roman architecture in Britain. I must say, it was a day well spent!

A very historical town. The car shuttled through the streets and alleys of Bath, and it turned out that this is the hometown of &quot;Jane Austen&quot;, the female writer who wrote &quot;Pride and Prejudice&quot;. Simple, beautiful, leisurely, peaceful, elegant and quiet. It can only be said that it is difficult to describe its beauty. very nice. There are many tourists, but it is very orderly. The air is also very good. It felt nice to take a quiet walk.

I enjoyed a day at Thermea! It&rsquo;s true &hellip; this is not a quiet spa! But we didn&rsquo;t mind that as we like to chat as well. At other spas we&rsquo;ve been to there is little or quiet chatter and people are often asked to stay quiet. At Thermea guests can get pretty loud in the hot springs or by the fire. Bath Abbey is a beautiful Gothic church located in Bath, England. It&#39;s known for its stunning architecture, including its intricate stained glass windows and the fan vaulting in its ceiling. The abbey has a rich history dating back to the 7th century and is a significant landmark in the city of Bath.

The Royal Crescent

Bath&#39;s most famous attraction is also one of the most magnificent Georgian buildings in the UK. The Crescent Building is a group of 30 connected houses. It looks like a crescent moon from the distant mountains, and it echoes the circus, which represents the sun. There is a lawn for tourists and local residents to rest and play.

House No. 1 is a museum (don&#39;t go if you don&#39;t want to go), two houses in the middle have been converted into hotels (very expensive), and the rest are private property. It&#39;s very beautiful when the sun is full~
