no workshop 19th Oct due to illness  Where are we: 🌧️ When it's raining we are in the back of the Church. When you come in the main entrance, got straight forward and then go through the door to the right of the stage. We're in the blue room! ☀️ If it's sunny and the market stalls are outside - we'll be inside the main hall of the church at the back corner --------- What we do: Each week we have a new theme, we'll always be using watercolour & collage in some way. The colours we use are really bright and amazing - not those cheap dissapointing watercolours. Once you have paid in person, or bought a ticket on eventbrite, your child can stay at the table for however long they want & make as many things they want to (although I try to encourge them to finish each one before making 100! How to turn up: You can either book on Eventbrite, or turn up on the day and pay by cash or card. Turn up any time - early is less busy If the table is full when you turn up, you may just need to wait a little while before a space becomes free - which is why coming earlier is better! While you wait you can grab a coffee from the cafe, and there's a little play area for the kids next to the art table that they can be entertained with for a while. What ages can take part? Children under 4 need an adult to help them out. Who runs the workshop? Hi I'm Zara - I run multiple watercolour workshops every week in Waterstones on Northstreet and other venues around Brighton and East Sussex. Running workshops for children is a new venture for me and I've really enjoyed it so far! In the past I have volunteered with charities working with young children and I have previously worked in a secondary school with teens. In all of my workshops the participants get to learn something as well as experiment, which in itself is really improtant for learning - and most importantly having fun! REFUNDS: Unfortunately eventbrite takes a cut of the ticket event if the ticket is refunded. Which means I would be losing money meaning I'm unable to offer a full refund. So there is a choice between these things: 1) I can transfer your ticket to a different week of your choice 2) I can refund you but it will be a few quid and pence less! Refunds and transfers must be requested at least 12 hours before the event starts. WHAT'S ON

We were there on a weekend and mainly walked outside, looking at the gardens and the architecture. We didn&rsquo;t go inside as their hours of operation didn&rsquo;t coincide with the time we were there and had available. Great place to stroll, people watch, or have a picnic, weather permitting.

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

One of the best piers in the South of England. There is lots to do with tons of seaside rides, fun arcade games and food. Highly recommend catching the sunset here and if you&rsquo;re lucky you might catch the starlings dancing at dusk, I didn&rsquo;t know they do this and it was the most spectacular striking and stunning natural phenomenon I had seen, it was mesmerising. Highest chances of seeing the starlings dance is between November-March, we visited in early March

more like a downtown touristy place with many cafes and cosmetic shops. very easy to get lost while looking for some place on maps. almost did when i was lookong for Mac cosmetics...you will find Jo Malone, Bobby Brown and Mac cosmetics all in one small area. and coffee shops too. on my second attempt i was looking for pizza express and i almost missed it. hehehh the lanes is one place that gets you wondering what exactly is going on with your maps application. definately recomend you to not miss it while in brighton. on your way to lanes you will meet Tmax the famous brand discount shop and boy, you will thank me then.
