The Keep Going 5K/10K/13.1 Run SAN DIEGO is a small, private group run that offers a unique and inspirational experience for runners of all ages and paces. This event takes place at Liberty Station in San Diego, California on May 11, 2024. 

Participants will have the opportunity to run with other like-minded individuals and experienced pacers through a beautiful route. The run aims to provide a reminder to keep going and keep running, as sometimes all we need is a little bit of hope to make a difference in the lives of those we love. 

Upon completing the run, participants will receive a special pin as a token of their achievement. Additionally, they will have access to a hand-picked playlist of inspirational running songs, which they can use to train for their next race on platforms like Spotify or YouTube Music.

It's important to note that this run is expected to sell out quickly, with waves closing as soon as they fill up. However, if waves are sold out, participants can still sign up for the virtual run option or join the waitlist. The small, private group run is limited to only 15-20 participants per wave, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience.

Timing for this run is stress-free, with no timing chips provided. However, coordinators will be available to help participants keep track of their time using bib numbers. Participants can report their final results with the help of coordinators on race day.

As part of the swag bag, participants will receive a premium running shirt, which will be shipped directly to their registered US mailing address. They will also receive a finisher's medal, which can be claimed by emailing the race organizers after the run.

Packet pickup is hassle-free, as all swag items will be shipped directly to the participants' provided address. Race bibs will be distributed on race day.

Those who sign up for this run will also have the opportunity to join a virtual community of runners, where they can connect and engage with fellow participants. 

Late registrations are accepted, but participants should note that shirt shipment may take time, and the shirt may arrive after the run. In such cases, participants are free to wear any appropriate shirt for the race.

There are different wave times available, and participants are encouraged to email their desired wave time to info@thebestraces.com. Waves are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, with wave A starting at 7:30AM, wave B at 8:30AM, and wave C at 9:00AM. Late runners can still join the run upon arrival, as coordinators will be present until three hours after the first wave.

For those unable to participate in the physical run, a virtual run option is available. This unique virtual run includes the support of a coach, who can be contacted via text anytime. Participants can choose their preferred time and location for the virtual run and can use any tracking device to record their results. After completing the run, participants can submit their results to receive their medal.

For those interested in multiple races, there is a race bundle option that offers a discount. Participants who complete three of the runs will receive a custom runner's trophy.
