From August 31 to September 4, hundreds of participants from all over the country will gather in Takoma Park, MD for four days of intense workshops in traditional African dance and drumming. Led by master dancers and drummers from Mali, Senegal, Liberia, the Congo, and Guinea, this event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of African culture.
The conference will feature a lineup of esteemed workshop instructors and guest artists, including Mabiba Baegne, Fode Bangoura, Mariama Basse, and many more. Participants can expect a comprehensive program taught by experts in the field. Please note that all classes will be held in person only, with no refunds available.
