Join the July 4th Freedom Run PHOENIX, a small and private group run through a beautiful route in Phoenix. This event offers a 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon distance and is a great way to kick off your July 4th weekend with friends and family. Choose between the Thursday (July 4th Run) or Saturday Run. Don't miss out, as this run will sell out quickly!

Not only will you have a memorable running experience, but you'll also be supporting a great cause. 10% of the net proceeds and 100% of the fundraising will go to Hope for the Warriors, a Non-Profit organization that provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families.

This small, private group run is limited to just 15-20 participants per wave, ensuring a more intimate and supportive atmosphere. Runners and walkers of all paces and ages (under 18 with guardian) are welcome to participate. No equipment or setup is required, just pure running with our coordinators there to support you.

Timing chips are not provided, but our coordinators can help you keep track of your time using bib numbers given out on race day. If you choose to time yourself, simply inform our coordinator and they will guide you through an easy process of noting your start and stop time.

As a participant, you will receive a premium running shirt and a finisher's medal. These will be shipped directly to your registered US mailing address. Packet pickup is not required, making the process hassle-free.

Wave times are available from 7:30AM to 9:00AM. Please email us your desired wave time at info@thebestraces.com. Late runners can still participate upon arrival, as our coordinators will stay until 3 hours after the first wave.

If you can't make it to the physical event, we offer a virtual run option. You can choose to have the support of a coach who will cheer you on through text messages. Virtual runs can be completed at any time and location of your choosing, and your results can be submitted to receive your medal.

By signing up for multiple races, you can take advantage of our race bundle discount. Complete 3 of our runs and receive a Custom Runner's Trophy.

Phoenix Zoo is located in Tempe Arizona and it is by far one of the best zoos I have been to. There are many attractions to the zoo like the wildlife. Phoenix Zoo has places like sea life walk where you can go see the sea life. The have a trail called Desert trail where you can see all the desert animals. they also have an area where you can see all the flowers in Arizona. they have a kid&#39;s land for just the kids they have a water park for the kids the animals that you see are mainly ones that you would see in a safari because it is a desert. Arizona You Don&#39;t See Much of like polar bears. it&#39;s a great little Zoo it&#39;s not too big not too little and I highly suggest if you&#39;re going to go to the Phoenix Zoo do not go in the summer I would plan to come in the winter where is more nice not so hot and you&#39;ll see a lot more animals than if you were to come in the summer it is 120&deg; here in Arizona during the summer and in the winter it gets up to about 70&deg; during the day so be a perfect time to come in the Winter.

It was a really big park. I went from the southern end along the canal trail to the north end and stopped at the rocky cave, which took about an hour. It was a great place to relax, exercise and picnic. I loved the change between the green spaces around the lake and the arid areas filled with cactus. And was stunned by the bird life around. It is really hot so apply sunscreen and bring enough water.

You can see the sunrise and sunset of Phoenix here
I went there twice this year
I arrived at around 8am in March to see the blue sky and wild flowers
I arrived at around 5am in June to see many tourists waiting for the sunrise
This place is right next to the zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden
Free attractions
Travel route
Bring breakfast and watch the sunrise and have breakfast at the Cave in the Stone
Then go to the Desert Botanical Garden at around 8am to see all kinds of desert plants and animals
At noon, have a good meal at the restaurant in the botanical garden
If you like, go to the zoo in the afternoon (but I don&#39;t like it)
