Welcome to Jazz Rising, a student-led music showcase and fundraiser where smooth tunes, good vibes, and community spirit come together at Monarch Tavern! Enjoy a night of incredible music from emerging Toronto talent, all while supporting a great cause. Never been to a jazz show? First time for everything.
Seen 50 already? We love a seasoned fan. This one-of-a-kind event will honour the roots of jazz and raise funds for The Performing Arts Lodge (PAL), providing affordable housing and community for aging performers, and the Humber Polytechnic Scholarship Fund, supporting students' access to education. Pizza? Absolutely.
Special guest host? You bet.
A raffle with awesome prizes? Of course! All proceeds go directly to our charities, so bring your friends, your date, your mom, your dad, or that coworker who won’t stop talking about their Miles Davis phase.
