Through short meditation exercises, attendees will experience mushin, or "no mind," allowing them to achieve a state of inner peace and harmony. Mika will guide participants in practicing the eight essential brush strokes necessary for calligraphy, culminating in the creation of a Chinese character that represents eternity and incorporates all eight strokes.

Beyond the technical aspects, this workshop aims to cultivate a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and foster a sense of community among participants. Mika, who has exhibited her work at prestigious galleries in Tokyo, brings her passion and expertise to Berlin, eager to share the beauty of Shodō with an international audience.

The workshop will be conducted in English, with occasional Japanese word facts sprinkled throughout. All necessary supplies will be provided, so attendees only need to bring their enthusiasm and creativity.
