ISACS Network, in collaboration with Circusful, is excited to present the first Training Session 2024 exclusively for ISACS members. This session will feature Dan Le Man, an esteemed International Festival Programmer, who will provide valuable insights and guidance on effectively pitching your show to secure more quality bookings and leads. The Training Session will take place at The Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast on Sunday, 7th of January. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Dan Le Man from 2pm-5pm, with the session preceded by a casual gathering at 1:30 pm for tea, coffee, and networking. 

When it comes to contacting festivals, events, agents, or professional producers, the initial approach is akin to a first date. The success of this interaction depends on factors such as clear and prompt communication, your personality, the quality of your show visuals, and your online presence. It is more than just the quality of your performance; it's about putting your best foot forward and differentiating yourself from others. During the session, common mistakes made when reaching out to bookers via email, social media, and online application forms will be addressed. By rectifying these mistakes, it becomes easier for producers, festivals, and organizers to book you. 

This exclusive training opportunity is free of charge and is available only to ISACS members. Our facilitator, Dan Renwick, also known as Dan le Man, boasts over 20 years of experience in street, stage, and ship performances. His extensive background in circus and physical theatre, coupled with his involvement in various ventures such as directing the Tallinn Fringe festival and managing a drinks distribution company, makes him a valuable resource for artists seeking to enhance their booking prospects. Leading us from the middle stairs to the second floor by a man with a large belly, he introduced us to where we came from in the middle round handrails, really, it is the world and the north, the vast majority of foreigners. Then we led us to the hall of parliament, which is where the members of parliament meet, and there are microphones in each position, and then we started to talk about the history, functions, etc. of the building, and we were full of spirit. You can sit casually, even the position of the chancellor. After the introduction, I will lead you to visit other halls. The huge banquet hall is covered with thick and beautiful red carpets. What hall is the blue carpet is a bit unrememberable.
