Isabella Dorta's Spring Tour 2024 is coming to Glasgow, with a special show at August House. This exciting event will feature an evening of live poetry and spoken word, along with an open mic and book signing. Headliner Isabella Dorta, a TikTok poet with over 2 million followers, will be reading from her latest book, "The Letters I Will Never Send," as well as sharing previous works that you may have heard before. Isabella's poetry focuses on topics such as love, heartbreak, and mental health - the things that often go unspoken. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and we recommend arriving early to reserve your spot as an open mic-er. The book signing will begin at 9:30 pm, and copies of Isabella's four books, including "How Sunflowers Bloom Under Moonlight" and "How to Be Heartbroken," will be available for purchase. We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.
