Join the upcoming Introductory Ikenobo Ikebana Workshop (In-Person) in Chicago at the Japanese Culture Center. The workshop, scheduled for June 2, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, offers a unique opportunity to delve into the Ikenobo style of Ikebana. Led by Professor Charles Harris, students will be introduced to the history of the Ikenobo school and engage in a freestyle arrangement workshop. The workshop fee of $80 includes all necessary materials, such as flowers, a container, and Ikebana shears. Participants will also take home their completed arrangement.

Registration for this workshop closes two weeks before the event to ensure ample time to prepare materials. Please note that a minimum of 10 students is required for the workshop to proceed. In the event of cancellation due to not meeting the minimum number of participants, a credit will be kept for the next workshop. Refunds will not be provided. For those interested in further training, a 6-week Ikebana introductory course is available for registration following the workshop.
