Learn the art of signwriting at the Introduction to Signwriting weekend workshop in Dublin. Led by accomplished sign painter Vanessa Power, this two-day workshop will teach participants the traditional styles and techniques of signwriting, allowing them to create their own hand-painted signs. Starting with block lettering and brush strokes, Vanessa will guide participants in improving their brush control, technique, and consistency. With each step, participants will gain confidence and work towards completing their own sign on a piece of wood to take home. The workshop will take place on February 3 and 4, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The course fee is €275, and all materials will be provided. Vanessa Power, also known as Signs of Power, is an Irish lettering artist specializing in custom lettering, murals, and hand-painted signs. Her vibrant style blends the traditional craft of sign painting with the captivating aesthetics of the pop art movement. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a talented artist and create your own unique sign.
