Welcome to the Introduction to Risograph workshop at Studio Vlinderboom! Join us at Broedplaats Baggerbeest for a fun and creative experience. Learn all about Risograph printing and how to create unique prints using this cool technique. No experience necessary, just come with an open mind and a desire to learn something new. See you there! We are excited to invite you to this introductory workshop in our cozy riso studio space. In this workshop, we will guide you through the process of making your own two-colour Risograph prints - using scrap paper to make collages! You'll leave with 10 copies of your own design and have the opportunity to share and collaborate with other participants. The workshop begins with an introduction to the theory of Risography, followed by a demonstration of some examples. You'll then move on to making the first layer of your design using a scap paper to make a collage. Once the first layer is complete, we'll go to printing with Rita (our risoprinter) Next, you'll make the second layer, possibly using a light box or transparant paperfor precise alignment. After the second layer has been printed, there will be opportunities to print layers from different participants on top of each other, encouraging collaborative artwork. The workshop concludes with a small exhibition where you can review and discuss your work with the group. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to exchange prints with others, so you can take home a variety of creations. Throughout the workshop you'll gain practical skills in basic Risography techniques, creating layered designs and using texture and opacity to achieve unique effects. The workshop will take place in the inspiring environment of Baggerbeest, a cultural hotspot in Zeeburg, providing the perfect backdrop for creativity. If you plan to drop in only to see the famous masterpieces then you may view this as an expensive place , however there is a huge amount to see.  I booked a 9am time slot , was there for 8 hours and didn&rsquo;t even not have time to  get to all floors.  You can hire an audio tour but my advice is not to waste money on that and just download the official museum app which is free. Many art pieces have a number, you type in the number and get the audio, or the app has tours of the different galleries which focus on the highlights&hellip;. There&rsquo;s an audio tour for the masterpieces gallery. Even with 8 hours, I did not have time to do all the possible audio tours.  You can check your coat and use lockers  for free.  The cafe has very good quality food and was not as expensive as I was expecting for a museum.

This boat is relatively basic and cost-effective; you can also try a more expensive boat full of colorful flower decorations, take pictures, and the most important thing is that there are wine waiters on the boat, and you can order wine/drinks.

Visiting the Anne Frank House was truly unforgettable. The museum is thoughtfully curated, the exhibits are moving, and walking through the Secret Annex gives a vivid sense of history. A must-visit in Amsterdam!
