Thank you for registering with The Makers Studio Central Coast Inc to a Members Only – INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING Please find below all the information you need regarding workshop attendance. Date: Saturday 22 February, 2025 Time: 10am – 4pm Venue: Building 3 Lions Community Hall, 8 Russell Drysdale St East Gosford (entrance at the rear of the building) You will be given comprehensives notes and instruction on how to get started with the process of lino printing. We begin with learning how to use the tools safely, and exploring the varied marks the tools can make. We will create a simple design (or use the one provided) and transfer the design to the lino, then carve it out using the tools provided. Finally, you will print your lino and refine your design if needed. OH&S issues will be also be discussed. All materials supplied. You will need to wear closed in shoes while working in the studio for work health safety reasons. Looking forward to working with you. Bring Your own Lunch Tea/coffee/milk will be available at the studio. and morning tea is supplied.
