This eight-week class, taught by instructor Rosie Caruth, will equip you with the fundamentals of sketch writing and enable you to develop your own unique comedic style. Through engaging lectures, examples, and specially designed exercises, you will master various sketch writing techniques used by professional comedy writers for shows like SNL, Key & Peele, and The Iliza Show.

Every Wednesday from 7-9:30 PM, starting on September 13, 2023, you will immerse yourself in the art of comedy writing. Over the course of these eight sessions, you will generate hilarious premises, write side-splitting sketches, and even have the opportunity to perform table reads. Receive valuable feedback from your instructor and refine your skills as you transform into a skilled comedy writer. By the end of the class, you will have the foundation of a comedy portfolio that you can proudly showcase to the world.

The Sixth Floor Museum is located in downtown Dallas. It was built to commemorate the assassination of former US President Kennedy. It is called the &quot;Sixth Floor&quot; because the three bullets of the killer Lee Haney Oswald were fired from the sixth floor of this building, which was once a textbook warehouse.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza

The monument is designed to be suspended from top to bottom and enclosed in four directions. There is only one piece of black marble on the floor of the monument, on which Kennedy&#39;s name is carved in gold.
