Join UpaDowna for an exciting event, Intro to Climbing, taking place on January 26, 2024, in Colorado Springs at the CityROCK venue. This 2-hour beginner class is perfect for those new to climbing or looking to refresh their skills. Discover the world of climbing as UpaDowna's Yeti Crew guides you through basic climbing techniques, essential safety tips, and provides rental gear. This event is open to all ages and abilities, although participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Not only will you learn the ropes and tour the gym, but you'll also have the opportunity to meet new people and reach new heights. Plus, UpaDowna participants can have their CityROCK membership initiation fee waived if they sign up within one month of taking the class. The cost per participant is $15. 

If you need financial assistance, UpaDowna offers funding opportunities through the Climb Fund. Apply to waive your class fee and receive a 10 Punch Pass to continue progressing in your climbing skills. For more information and to apply, visit UpaDowna's website.

To ensure a smooth experience, complete a CityROCK climbing waiver for each person in your group before arriving. Arriving 15 minutes early is highly recommended to check-in on time, as the class starts promptly at 6pm. If you'd like to attend with friends, they must also sign up for an online ticket.
