Acropolis, in Greek, is Acropolis, which means &quot;city-state on a high mountain&quot;. There are many Acropolises in Greece, but the Acropolis of Athens has been the eternal pride of the Greeks since it was built 2,600 years ago.
The Acropolis of Athens is located on a limestone hill 150 meters above sea level in the southwest of Athens. It was built in the 5th century BC and is a holy place to commemorate the victory of the Greco-Persian War and to worship Athena, the patron saint of Athens. The main building, the Parthenon, is backed by the maze-like residential houses of Plaka in Athens, and the cliff facing the sea stands steeply, towering in the blue sea and blue sky. In addition to the Parthenon, the Acropolis of Athens also has buildings such as the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Victory, the Erechtheion, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. The chief architect was Phidias, who was famous at the time. The Theatre of Hirod Atticus and the Column of Patten, however, the Column of the Acropolis is not real. The Column of the Acropolis Museum and... The British Museum is like most Greek temples, and the temple is used as a vault. 1, built in 447 BC to replace the old Parthenon (destroyed in 480 BC by Persians). 2, for a while was the treasure of the Tyrolean alliance (later turned into the Athenian Empire). In the 6th century, Patnon was converted to a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary (the formerly dedicated Athena was also a virgin). 4. In the early 1460s, after being conquered by the Ottoman Turks, it was used as a mosque. In 1687, it was used as a gunpowder bank by the Turkish army and was unfortunately badly damaged in an explosion. By 1800, only half of the statues of Patnon had survived, and British Ambassador Sir Erkin, after obtaining the approval of the Ottoman government, began to transport half of the surviving statues back to the UK at his own expense from 1801, and began to be displayed in the British Museum from 1817.

Downtown subway transfer station, airport bus X95 terminal, see the Capitol guards change guard, next to a national garden, there is an ancient Roman bathing site, very close to the Acropolis, the old city at the foot of the mountain is worth walking, there are many Portuguese streets and buildings like Macau.
